Problems/Comments

Toany Hiatt, PacifiCorp Environmental is consultant. AT&T Alascom contact is Larry Bamberger. Contamination, exceeding ADEC cleanup levels, remains under the building. No Further Remedial action planned until contamination becomes accessible. At that time, additionaol assessment &/or corrective action will be required. Soil remediation pils approved for closure in 2005. There is an additional Contaminated Sites site listed in the contaminated sites database for release not related to USTs. 6/19/1992 Underground Storage Tank Site Characterization or Assessment SA1R; Site assessment report indicates that diesel fuel impacted soil and shallow ground water are present. Approximately 350 gallons of free product have been recovered by pumping water from beneath the building into an oil/water separator and discharging the water into the sanitary sewer (with approval from the City of Kodiak).
