Problems/Comments

During tank upgrade activities, gasoline contaminated soil was reported at fill pipe end and between the two 10,000-gallon gasoline tanks. Additional assessment activities were not conducted to determine extent of soil and/or groundwater impacts . State funds were spent to determine potential of groundwater impacts from UST system. Analytical results for groundwater monitoring were below the established cleanup levels for GRO and benzene. State funds used to decommission the monitor wells.
