Problems/Comments
During the removal of one 4,000 gallon diesel, two 3,000 gallon gasoline, one 2,000 gallon used oil, one 500 gallon diesel, and one 1,000 gallon used oil underground storage tanks in September 1990, detectable lab reading was found, but below the ADEC cleanup levels. Groundwater was encountered, but not contaminated. Approximately 25 cubic yards of soil was excavated and disposed of on site by spreading it out across the eastern side of their gravel yard after the lab readings showed the concentrations were well below ADEC cleanup levels. A small release was from over-spillage while refilling the UST's at the gasoline tanks. Updated 1-18-06 Alyce Hughey.
