Problems/Comments

During the removal of one 1,500 gallon diesel underground storage tank, maximum DRO concentrations of 1,100 ppm was encountered. Approximately 3 cubic yards of diesel contaminated soil was excavated, stockpiled, and landspread at the Nikiski Fire Station #1. Results of the site assessment indicate the contamination remaining in the excavation is below cleanup guideline levels. Updated 7-21-06 Alyce Hughey
