9/28/1988 Update or Other Action REM; Two USTs were removed from the Galco facility. Groundwater at 8 feet. 174 tons of clean fill was used to backfill the excavation. Water sample from the bottom of the excavation had 16.1 ppb benzene. Disposal of excavated soil not documented. The soil was stockpiled at the site and covered with a plastic membrane in 9/88.
