Site Characterization Workplan Approved |
ADEC approved Shannon & Wilson's December 8, 2011, SITE ASSESSMENT WORK PLAN. The work plan proposes the drilling of three soil borings in the vicinity of the existing underground storage tanks and fuel dispensers. The soil borings might be constructed into monitoring wells. The purpose of this work is to investigate previously identified soil contamination remaining beneath the USTs. Shannon & Wilson prepared the work plan on behalf of HDR Alaska, Inc. (HDR). HDR was working with the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority, which was in the process of acquiring property to establish public right-of-way for the proposed Knik Arm Crossing project. |
