Conclude that contamination at FAA and Lodge from two different sources. |

SI; "Bettles LUST Contamination Laboratory Report" included sampling of 14 potable drinking supplies and 4 monitoring wells, and fingerprinting of oil samples obtained from wells. Two monitoring wells near USTs showed contamination with petroleum hydrocarbons. School and lodge wells did not show contamination. |

Well 1 showed 22 ppm petroleum product (appears to be gasoline), and well 3 showed 47 ppm of what appears to be diesel fuel. Also sampled drinking water sources in Bettles. No BTEX were found in these samples. DEC requested tank testing by 12/9/88. |
