The soil and groundwater samples were analyzed for BTEX and TPH(RRO). Up to 0.026 mg/kg benzene and 348 mg/kg TPH in the soil samples collected. Up to 401 ug/l benzene, 25 ug/l toluene, 64 ug/l ethylbenzene, and 154 ug/l xylenes in the groundwater samples collected. |

Contamination found in August 1999 during the removal of nine underground storage tanks and their associated piping and dispensers. Up to 47.1 mg/kg lead, 1,580 mg/kg RRO, 565 mg/kg DRO, 42.6 mg/kg GRO, and 0.145 mg/kg benzene in the soil samples collected from the final excavation. 144 cubic yards of contaminated soil was excavated, stockpiled on the property until it was transported to ASR for thermal treatment. |
