7/22/1993 Site Visit FI; HUNG accompanied EPA Inspector. Upgrading 2,000 gallon UST containing unleaded gasoline has been completed. PetroSonic III Tank Gauging System and PetroSentry Alarm System installed. There are two dispensers which run off of one UST. Inspector informed Operations Manager, Skip Snedden to obtain evaluation/validation of system from manufacturer which will ensure what purchased works. 4/15/2025 Brownfields Award The Fairbanks Daily News Miner was awarded DBAC services to investigate a potential release in relation to the remaining UST onsite. Flannery Ballard
7/22/2025 Site Characterization Workplan Approved DEC attended a kick off meeting with FDNM and the Brownfields consultant to discuss the UST closure and ensuing SARI report. While a work plan is not required under 18 AAC 78, DEC approves of the plan to close the tank. Flannery Ballard
8/4/2025 Offsite Soil or Groundwater Disposal Approved DEC approved the Soil Treatment and Disposal Form. AN estimated 20 cubic yards of potentially petroleum impacted soil will be disposed of at the Republic Services Moose Creek Facility.
