6/29/1994 Update or Other Action RPL2; Peterson sent PRP-CS Database Notification letter to RP requesting update and more environmental information concerning contaminated site. John(476-7586) from RZA responded by calling for RP confirming that indeed tanks were pulled in '91, but that perhaps because of late season final work was never completed. RZA has now been contracted to do over-excavation and has contacted Kalu for ADEC staff to approve work. RPCON responded with completed info. form. Former Staff
8/11/1994 Release Investigation RELR; HUNG: RPCON submits final report, entitled summary report/additional site assessment. Requests NFA. Former Staff
1/6/1995 Site Closure Approved CLOS; Reviewed entire file in conjunction w/EPA closure of class 5 injection well for NFA request. Commented that based on depth @ which slightly high Lead levels obtained, would have been appropriate to excavate 6" more and sampled interface. Would have confirmed whether Lead had/had not migrated to grd. water in levels that may cause future concern. Also use of UST not suitable as AST. NFA granted. Former Staff
