Problems/Comments
2 500 gal UST's. UST # 247 stores mogas, replaced 7/90 and is covered w/sand in an above ground vault. UST # 248 stores diesel & has been in place since 1986. A soil sample near bldg. (point unknown) 7/90 indicated no TRPH & BTEX. This site was reviewed on January 12, 2016. The site was formerly listed in Appendix A of the Two Party Agreement at Fort Wainwright. DEC is reviewing the Appendix A site list and has requested the Army to update the list based on confirmed cleanup complete/closure status of the original sites.
