Problems/Comments

BLM removed two 7,200-gallon tanks from the site in 1994. Sampling results at one tank showed diesel range organics above the cleanup level with a maximum concentration of 2,080 mg/kg. Before the soil could be removed, a contractor used the gravel for a road construction project. An estimated 10 cubic yards of contaminated soil was spread over three to six miles of road.
