9/9/1994 Site Visit FI; HUNG: Conducted urgent on-site at request of RPCON and to reassure RP (Ben on AL). Service station is upgrading UST system and removed 4 USTs. Pit was deeper and larger than RP envisioned and was upset at the potential costs. RPCON stated contamination was localized and wanted to remove most of it while in the process to save future expense. Two USTs appeared to be in good shape, but piping was rusty. The w.o. UST was rusty in appearance. Several mounds of soil were on-site and one was very odoriferous. Former Staff

12/4/2000 Update or Other Action Received call from Mike Thomas regarding soil that is stockpiled at Kuikendall property. It has since been spread into a road bed and the owner called to ask what to do. Recommended that they get additional information regarding the soil, location, and suggest a sampling program.
