Problems/Comments

Numerous fuel spills and leaks, improper disposal of batteries, liquid waste drums, and other items has caused the release of significant levels of metals and petroleum products, especially at the drum and battery sites. POLs, metals, 27 ppm PCBs. These problems are attributed to poor housekeeping of residences since 1974. The Forest Service owns the property and the Coast Guard operates the facility. updated 2/7/2022.
