Problems/Comments

A 1992 site investigation report identified possible unacceptable lead levels in soil around some of the buildings. Dust sampling for lead was conducted in 1997 and it was recommended that inside of buildings be cleaned to prevent lead dust exposure to building restoration workers. In soil lead contamination is primarily between building outer walls to the building drip line with greater extents in some areas. Lead paint mitigation has occurred as buildings have been restored.
