9/6/2000 Update or Other Action JBC calls: Contacted Uno LaRusso regarding the site (owner - husband is Phillip). They thought that the DEC or EPA was in charge of the cleanup - likelu mislead by either H&H or their consultant. Trish Wagoneer was consultant for H&H Construction (Wasilla - not Fbx) and she no longer is in town or state (likely). She did not follow protocol and may have been somewhat of a 'maverick' at this type of work - many reported problems with her work in the past (via EH reviews and notes) Talked to H&H (376-2344) and they were going to look into the latest information for this site. Expect a call from them in the near future. If no call, get back with them and see what they are doing. Uno's address is un-dur@gci.net Uno LaRusso PO Box 220 Cantwell, AK 99729 Former Staff

3/22/2006 Institutional Control Record Established An institutional control was established that documents the residual contamination left at the site. If any contaminated soil is transported off-site, ADEC is required to be notified. In addition, the on-site monitoring well must be sampled this summer for GRO, BTEX and lead and a copy of the sample results must be submitted to ADEC. Deborah Williams
3/22/2006 Update or Other Action ADEC received a call from Robert Hull. He stated that the contaminated soil that was stockpiled on-site was spread out to the right of the gas station (south). Samples had been collected from the stockpile and ADEC gave approval for the landspread of the soil. Deborah Williams
3/22/2006 Conditional Closure Approved ADEC issued a NFRAP letter to Phillip Durosseau who is the current owner of the site. Approximately 5 or 6 cubic yards of contaminated soil is left under the canopy in the former dispenser area. Deborah Williams
9/6/2006 Update or Other Action ADEC received Denali Manor GW sampling report for the on-site monitoring well which is located in the former dispenser island area. The results for GRO, lead and BTEX were all below ADEC cleanup levels. Deborah Williams

6/13/2012 Institutional Control Record Removed This site meets the 2009 closure policy requirements therefore ICs can be removed. Groundwater monitoring results have shown no detection of contaminants of concern. The default requirement of no offsite transport of soil or groundwater from this site still applies. Evonne Reese
