JBC calls: Contacted Uno LaRusso regarding the site (owner - husband is Phillip). They thought that the DEC or EPA was in charge of the cleanup - likelu mislead by either H&H or their consultant. Trish Wagoneer was consultant for H&H Construction (Wasilla - not Fbx) and she no longer is in town or state (likely). She did not follow protocol and may have been somewhat of a 'maverick' at this type of work - many reported problems with her work in the past (via EH reviews and notes)
Talked to H&H (376-2344) and they were going to look into the latest information for this site. Expect a call from them in the near future. If no call, get back with them and see what they are doing.
Uno's address is un-dur@gci.net

An institutional control was established that documents the residual contamination left at the site. If any contaminated soil is transported off-site, ADEC is required to be notified. In addition, the on-site monitoring well must be sampled this summer for GRO, BTEX and lead and a copy of the sample results must be submitted to ADEC. |
