Problems/Comments

Three 12,000 gallon USTs were closed and removed in 1998. Approximately 3200 cubic yards of contaminated soils were excavated. After excavation confirmation samples verified that the excavation met site cleanup levels. Originally the excavated contaminated soils were to be treated on-site. Later in 1998, 900 cubic yards of 2 inch plus sized material was screened out and used as fill on the property. The remaining 2300 cubic yards of contaminated soil was approved to temporarily store off property at the RP's Big Lake property while awaiting treatment. A NFRAP letter was issued in 2001 with the condition that the 2300 cubic yards be treated. The contaminated soil stockpile has treated in 2009 and is to be reused in a roadway. A closure letter was issued on December 9, 2009. FKA L55.295
