Problems/Comments

Two underground fuel storage tanks were removed from this site in 1998 and 1999. The USTs included a 1,000-gallon gasoline and 5,000-gallon diesel tank. Approximately 95 cubic yards on contaminated soil was stockpiled on site. The soil contained DRO.

1/31/2007 Update or Other Action Talked to Dave Lambert with Fish and Game and he said that the stockpile is still in the fenced in area. I told him to spread the stockpile out within the fence in area this summer to about 6 inches depth and till it occassionally during the summer. Owner/operator shall continue to treat (i.e. tilled, fertilized, revegetated) until it achieves cleanup levels established for the site 2. the owner/operator shall continue to sample land spread soil (by approval of ADEC) to determine contaminant concentrations and treatment 3. 6/24/2011 Site Visit Site visit conducted. The land spread soil is located in a bird preserve that has no residents or groundwater wells. There was no diesel odor and the soil was covered with vegetation. Recommend removing institutional controls. Evonne Reese
6/24/2011 Institutional Control Record Removed This site meets the 2009 closure policy requirements, therefore the ICs are removed and no additional follow up is required by the responsible party. A letter was issued to the RP informing them of the IC removal. Evonne Reese
