Problems/Comments

A 10,000 gallon diesel UST was removed from a salmon hatchery located at Main Bay, Prince William Sound, Alaska in 1999. The assessment report identified an area of contaminted soil remaining in situ that exceeded ADEC sleanup levels. Approximately 65 cubic yards of contaminated soil was placed in a stockpile. No characterization of the groundwater has been done.
