10/15/2009 Site Characterization Report Approved Reviewed Soil Stockpile Sampling Report for Anaktuvuk Pass. Nine stockpiles of uncertain origin are present along the west side of the airport apron north of the fire station. Soil samples were collected from each stockpile, screened in the field, and one or two samples were collected from each stockpile. Samples from stockpiles 1, 4, 5, and 7 contained DRO above the most stringent cleanup levels with a maximum concentration of 14,000 mg/kg and samples from stockpiles 1 and 5 contained RRO above the most stringent cleanup levels with a maximum concentration of 103,000 mg/kg.
