Problems/Comments

90 cubic yards of petroleum-contaminated soil were excavated during the removal of a 3,000-gallon heating oil tank located east of the library building. Excavated soils were stockpiled on university property. Confirmation samples were collected from the limites of the excavation and the stockpile. Highest result was from a stockpile sample at 564ppm DRO. Samples analyzed for GRO and BTEX were below cleanup levels.
