Problems/Comments
An FY91 SI observed stained soil in a drainage pathway, and detected levels of lead (1,100 mg/kg) and TRPH (51,000 mg/kg) above ADEC cleanup standards. An FY95 ESI confirmed levels of DRO up to 6,600 mg/kg, with contamination extending to an estimated depth of ten feet below ground surface. High concentrations of TRPH and DRO with no volatile constituents are representative of an oil-based source such as mineral or motor oil. Debris within the area of staining consisted of electrical parts, a garbage can (with greasy electrical parts), and an oily bucket with a mop.
