11/28/2011 Document, Report, or Work plan Review - other Reviewed Phase II Site Assessment Report for Lease Tracts 40, 41, and 42. The majority of the structures on these lots are on Tract 40, with some buildings extending into Tract 41. Tract 42 is undeveloped. The property is occupied by Crowley All Terrain Corp (CATCO) and the Phase II was conducted by Peak Oilfield Services, who intend to take over the lease for this property. The Phase II report indicates the property was utilized for vehicle maintenance, a former drum storage area was present at the site as well as a diesel storage tank and pumphouse. Staining was noted at several locations on the pad and sheen was noted on surface water northwest of the site. One 50-gallon spill had been reported at the site in 1993. 21 soil boring were advanced at Tracts 40 and 41 to depths ranging from 8-10 feet bgs. The average pad thickness was reported to be 2-5 feet. 21 soil samples were submitted for laboratory analyses from the intervals with the highest PID field screening results. Samples were analyzed for DRO, RRO, GRO, BTEX and VOCs. DRO was detected up to 2,120 mg/kg in borehole BH6 at 2 feet bgs, GRO was detected up to 876 mg/kg in the same sample and xylenes were detected up to 105.3 mg/kg, also in the same sample. In soil samples collected from the 21 boreholes at the site, DRO was detected above the Method One cleanup level in 19 of the boreholes. No VOCs were detected above cleanup levels except for xylenes Bill O'Connell
