Problems/Comments

On March 25, 2008 the release of ~450 gallons of diesel fuel was reported from a 500-gallon underground heating oil tank at a residence at 1095 Brock Road in North Pole. The cause of the release was determined to be corrosion of the tank and a faulty return line. Following initial cleanup actions, contaminants were still present in soil and groundwater above DEC cleanup levels.
