Problems/Comments
An intact UST (3.1 ft diameter, 5 ft long) and associated pipeline were found near the former mess hall. In 2000, 110 gallons of water was pumped from the tank and 10 cubic yards of soil were excavated to bedrock, resulting in a 150 square foot excavation that was backfilled with clean soil. Three 30' section of pipe were removed. Six soil samples were taken from the excavation. One sample contained DRO above the Method 2 cleanup levels at 1,810 mg/kg, but below the ACL of 8,300 mg/kg. All other analytes were below cleanup criteria.

The building and USTs (possibly two USTs at the site?) have been removed. No debris, but some pipes remain. USACE and the contractor are unsure of where the UST was located.
