Problems/Comments
This site contains a lodge, several small cabins, a collapsed pool house, and a maintenance shop. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) conducted a cleanup project in 1997, removing burned battery plates and excavating the ash, burned debris, and visibily affected soil. The batteries were removed from the site; the drums containing the excavated material were left on site for future disposal. Confirmation results from the excavation exceeded the cleanup level for diesel range organics. Lead was detected in the soil below the cleanup level.
