Problems/Comments
On 3/15/13 a pup trailer/tank attached to a tanker truck overturned at milepost 235.8 Richardson Highway releasing approximately 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel to the ground in the road right-of-way. Initial excavation was limited to maintain the integrity of the road bed. Ethylbenzene, xylenes, GRO, and DRO (and possibly benzene) remain above DEC cleanup levels.
