Problems/Comments
In September 2011 a tank site assessment for purposes of a change in service was conducted for a 12,000-gallon dual-purpose diesel underground storage tank (UST#1) at the John Carlson Community Activity Center. Connections to generator were removed and tank was assessed in place. Diesel range organics (DRO) below the Method 2 cleanup level were detected in one surface soil sample below the vent pipe, and one stockpile sample detected DRO above the Method 2 cleanup level. The stockpile soil was returned to its original location as backfill.
