Problems/Comments

In November 2015, three underground storage tanks (USTs) were closed and removed from the property. UST #2 (10,000 gallons; listed as gasoline and recently used for jet A) had detectable levels of DRO, RRO, toluene and lead but were below ADEC Method 2 cleanup levels. Ethylene dibromide was detected above ADEC cleanup levels at 12 feet below ground surface. UST #1 (2,000 gallons; listed as diesel, and recently used for avgas) and UST #3 (2,000 gallons; listed as used oil and recently used for used oil) had detectable levels of diesel range organics (DRO), residual range organics (RRO), gasoline range organics, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes, however they were all under ADEC Method 2 cleanup levels and are being tracked separately under Hazard ID 26546, file no. 2100.26.597.
