Problems/Comments

In June 2010, DOT had its consultants investigate numerous class-5 injection wells. The Healy site was investigated with a single boring in what was estimated to be in close proximity to an IW. One sample indicated VOCs and other chemical constituents above the DEC cleanup levels. Further investigation was conducted in June 2016 and identified contamination remaining at the time of the removal of two injection wells (HE-IW-1 and HE-IW-2).
