Document, Report, or Work plan Review - other |
DEC approved by letter today Notification of a Petroleum Release from a Former Tank Farm letter/report submitted by G-Logics Inc. for Wards Cove Packing (WCP) regarding a tank farm reportedly formerly operated by Chevron from the 1940s to the 1980s. WCP also has had an interest in the site since the mid-1970s. Six above ground storage tanks (ASTs) and related appurtenances, including a truck rack pump station (hazard ID 26601) entered as a separate site on the CS Database. Site investigation indicates soil contamination by release of leaded gasoline and diesel to surface soil. Groundwater was encountered on average at two feet below ground surface. |
