Problems/Comments
Exploration drill site sampled during a reserve pit closure program. Amoco drilled 25 test holes on October 2, 1989. Holes ranged form 15-20 feet in depth. Samples show TPH concentrations of 8,480 mg/kg, Barium 8,050 mg/kg, Chromium 89.3 mg/kg, and Lead 50.6 mg/kg. The reserve pit at this site has been sampled for closure under the Solid Waste program. SW staff are requiring samples for surface water to determine if WQ Standards are exceeded. The pad contamination identified is regulated by the CS program. Existing data indicate localized contamination with minimal environmental risk.
