Problems/Comments

Gasoline was identified in shallow soils immediately beneath underground storage tank (UST 4B) tank overfill sump during replacement of a faulty overfill sump. A small crack was identified in the sump, and is believed to be the source of the fuel release(s), which would have occurred during fuel delivery truck transfers of fuel into the tank.
