Problems/Comments
On May 11, 2017 DEC received a report of a release of non-PCB mineral oil from a transformer (T1151) on the west side of the Red Flag Ops Building 1151 at Eielson Air Force Base. The volume of the release is unknown. Visually-impacted soil, to a depth of no more than six inches, was removed. Sample results indicate diesel range organics remain in soil above DEC cleanup levels.

The Restoration Atlas is required per the Institutional Control/Land Use Controls (IC/LUC) Settlement Agreement signed April 15, 2013. The Atlas was issued for the first time in 2017 and is updated annually. | Sarah Bernhardt |
