Email from DOT regarding contamination found at the Tazlina Maintenance Station from the use of injection well TZ-IW-1. Approximately 1,900 gallons of injection well, sump, and piping contents were removed from the IW system. In addition, approximately 35 cubic yards of soil was removed from around the injection well. Contamination was removed to the extent possible and groundwater was not encountered. |
