Problems/Comments

In late winter, 2018 approximately 600 gallons of diesel were released from an underground heating oil tank located behind the Glennallen Fuel and Service office building, beneath a covered concrete pad. Initially, the fuel was thought to have been stolen from the tank, because it was found to be empty shortly after being filled. But after an additional amount of fuel was added to the tank and also leaked out, it was determined that the entire amount of fuel had been released underground. An aboveground heating oil tank was installed as a replacement. Site investigation is planned for August 2019.
