DEC reviewed a treatability study workplan. The plan is to send site material which was collected during last October's field visit to a lab where aliquots will be mixed in varying ratios with cement. Samples will be tested before and after treatment for a variety of parameters including total metals, leachable metals by TCLP, pH, and pH-dependent leachability. No regulatory issues were identified, and DEC concurred the experimental design would provide useful information for development of the site remedy. |
