Problems/Comments

Contaminated soils with lab results showing DRO between 9.6 and 34,000 ppm resulted from seven 32,000-gallon diesel, one 324,000-gallon diesel, and one 500-gallon diesel Above Ground Storage Tanks. Contamination was also found around three 20,000-gallon water cisterns and the pipeline. The Underground Storage Tanks are being worked in the LUST DB under USCG-Loran C Station-Sitkinak, Reckey:1998250030101. This site is located on the Sitkinak Island.
