Problems/Comments
Approximately 450 gallons of Heating oil spilled due to overfill of an underground storage tank by Express Fuels. Fuel flowed around 2 sides of the house foundation and traveled downward, contaminating soil around the house. Contaminated soil was removed but some contamination flowed under the foundation footer. Groundwater was contaminated slightly above cleanup standards. A vapor extraction system to remove volatiles from the soil by the foundation and in the crawlspace has been installed. Block 4, Lot 14, Charles Slater Subdivision. Cross Reference File Number 102.02.090. Spill Number 99309934101 Spill date 12/7/1999
