Petroleum contaminated soil when fuel leaked from a corroded plug at the tank bottom. Fuel leaked from the tank bottom at approximately 8 foot depth below ground to an unknown depth. A 3,000 gallon-tank was removed and approximately 500 gallons of fuel was pumped from the tank for reuse. A soil sample was collected approximately one foot below the tank at a depth of 9.5 feet below ground surface. Analytical results reported DRO at 1,930 mg/kg. BTEX was reported as non-detectable and GRO was reported at 17 mg/kg. Lot 7, Block 1, Christensen Addition Subdivision.
