Problems/Comments

Removal of a 1,000-gallon unregulated UST, discovery of contamination, and collection of soil samples. Work plan for remediation of 12 cubic yards of contaminated soil required. Soil remediation to be completed in 2002 so as not to exceed 2 year limit on long-term soil stockpiling.

8/29/2005 GIS Position Updated Using Figures 1 and 2 from an Underground Storage Tank Removal Report 2000, City of Kenai Daubenspeck Property, from American Environmental, dated April 26, 2001, in conjunction with TopoZone Pro and the KPB Parcel Lookup, entered the coordinates for this site. Metadata includes No Topo Basemap, TopoZone Pro Street Maps, Black and White Aerial Photo, on a Medium Size Map, View Scale 1:10,000, Coordinated Datum NAD83. 7/11/2006 Update or Other Action Reviewed stockpile sampling report. Sampling ws done for possible disposal at the Borough landfill in Soldotna. The samples show that the soils are all below ADECmost stringent clenaup levels. The soils will be allowed to be spread on site in a non-environmentally sensitive , non-wetlands area. Donald Seagren
7/12/2006 Site Closure Approved Analytical data from the contaminated soil stockpile is all below Table B clenaup levels. Stockpile will be allowed to spread on site in a non-wetland, non-environmentally sensitive area. the 3 monitor wells at the site should be abandon following ADEC approved procedures. Donald Seagren
