Problems/Comments
The MAUW (Modified Advanced Underwater Weapons) Compound was used as a secured ammunition storage facility. Building 24032 was known as the New Reaction Force Facility. Tank 24032-B was installed near the northeast corner of the building in 1976 and removed in 1994. DRO was the only contaminant detected in appreciable amounts. The site was not retained in the initial screening due to contamination levels below screening values. A method 4 risk assessment was performed on the site demonstrating that the contamination was below risk based levels. NOFA selected in the OU A ROD.
