Problems/Comments

The ROICC Contractor's Area is a concrete pad that formerly served as the foundation for a warehouse. The pad was used by contractors as a storage location for equipment and supplies. Although its history isn't documented, UST ROICC-5 was probably used as a storage tank for diesel and oil range petroleum products. UST removed in 1995. DRO was the only contaminant detected in appreciable amounts. The site was not retained in the initial screening due to contamination levels below screening values. A method 4 risk assessment was performed on the site demonstrating that the contamination was below risk based levels. NOFA selected in the OU A ROD.
