4/30/2004 | Update or Other Action | Site visit/drive-by with Jim Frechione. Contaminated sites staff later received a phone call form Fred Miller (North Peninsula Community Council). Fred stated that he had been informed by a council member that 3 ADEC employees were recently observed walking through the Sleepers Trailer Court site, and he was curious to see if progress was going to be made. Fred was informed that Contaminated Sites staff had stopped at the site for a couple of minutes while driving past it to visit other sites, and that no plans were being made to move forward with the site, that the site is predominately a solid waste issue. Fred was informed that contamination at the site was likely minimal, and that while the site was an eyesore, it did not appear to be a high enough priority to warrant State lead actions. | Don Fritz |
