Letter sent on this day with site history and request for contact by May 1, 2016. SITE HISTORY: On May, 12, 2002 it was estimated that 500 to 1,000 gallons of heating oil released from a 25,000 gallon above ground storage tank (AST) leaking pipe fitting. The fuel migrated approximately 100 yards along a slough into the woods. Impacts to vegetation were noted along the banks of the slough and the gravel pad near the point of the release showed evidence of surface staining. |
