Problems/Comments

A 1,000 gallon buried heating oil tank was removed. Approximately 1230 ppm DRO remained at 13 feet below grade (limit of excavation) at the west side of the excavation.

6/18/2008 Site Characterization Report Approved Reviewed Site Investigation report dated August 2002. Three borings were installed during this investigation at the west and southwest end of the tank. The highest DRO level was 156 mg/kg, which is below ADEC cleanup levels. This sample was collected at 10 ft bgs. DRO levels were much lower at 15 ft bgs. One boring was installed to 32 ft bgs; groundwater was not encountered. Janice Wiegers
6/18/2008 Site Closure Approved Site closed based on last site investigation report. Soil contamination has been excavated to cleanup levels. Groundwater was not encountered in the excavation or borings, and is expected to be at least 65 ft bgs at this location. Janice Wiegers
