Problems/Comments
During the removal of an abandoned pipeline, diesel range organics of maximum concentrations of 8,780 parts per million (ppm) were encountered from around the former aboveground storage tank. Approximately 5 cubic yards of soil was excavated and transported to Alaska Soil Recycling in Anchoarge for treatment. Soil contamination remains, and groundwater contamination is unknown.
