Problems/Comments
During the removal of snow, a grader knocked a valve off of a 10,000 gallon Avaition Gas Tank, and approximately 200 gallons was spilled to the ground. Approximately 150 gallons was cleaned up using absorbents and a suction pump on a fuel truck. The remaining ice snow and gravel was loaded into 4' X 4' hazardous waste containers and remediated at Northwest EnviroService in Seattle. File found while reviewing another file, and entered into the Contaminated Sites Database at a later date. At the time of the spill, Weaver Brothers was the landowner, the City of Kenai is now the landowner.
