Problems/Comments
DRO was detected in surface soil at Drum Storage Area 1; to 2,860 mg/kg, trace detections of pesticides, PCBs and PAHs all below migration to groundwater Cleanup levels. DRO was detected in surface soil at Drum Storage Area 3. Drum Storage Area 1 is located at upper camp near the Paint Storage and Vehicle Maintenace Buildings. Drum Storage Area 3 is located off the southeastern portion of the runway at lower camp. The 2009 Clean Sweep excavated 195 square feet in the eastern area to a depth of 2 feet, and screening for DRO and RRO were below cleanup levels. In the western area, 429 square feet were excavated to a depth of 3 feet, and screening for DRO and RRO were below cleanup levels.

---|---|---|---|
7/28/2008 | Site Added to Database | Site added to the database. | Mitzi Read |
7/30/2008 | Exposure Tracking Model Ranking | Initial ranking with ETM completed. Drum Storage Area 1 ranked as a de minimus exposure for direct contact with surface and subsurface soil due to low concentrations of DRO, all other pathways were incomplete. Storage Area 3 ranked as Current Exposure for direct contact with surface soil and low potential exposure for outdoor air inhalation. Only one sample detected high levels of DRO and RRO in surface soil, leading to the current exposure ranking. | Kim DeRuyter |
4/28/2010 | Update or Other Action | The 2009 Clean Sweep excavated 195 square feet in the eastern area of Drum Storage 3 to a depth of 2 feet, and screening for DRO and RRO were below cleanup levels. In the western area of Drum Storage 3, 429 square feet were excavated to a depth of 3 feet, and screening for DRO and RRO were below cleanup levels. Drum Storage Area 3 ranked as a de minimus exposure due to direct contact with surface soil due to low concentrations of DRO and RRO. | James Ward |
