9/29/1993 | Notice of Violation | NOV issued based on findings from a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) inspection conducted on June 9 and 11, 1993 at the 2488 W. International Road Northern Air Cargo (NAC) facility. Violations included failing to meet regulations pertaining to used oil tha is burned for energy recovery and failing to properly store hazardous waste, in this case visqueen that was in contact with methylene chloride used to strip paint. NAC was required to make adequate hazardous wste determinations on spent Chevron 365 stoffard solvent and on the sludge from parts cleaning tanks.
